Suspension is a video work that explores the condition of hesitation and the lack of certainty. Based on subtle observations and collected situational material, fragmentary narratives somewhere between interpersonal relation, imminent changes and perception of the surrounding keep on getting lost in atmospheric voids. The result is a sensitive collage of various micro-perceptions and abstract shots that are combined with text as a visual image. The work creates an ambiance of inert opacity full of potential. A research for artistic tension of the unknown, the feeling of no time, the desire of fixing non tangible illusions, creating impressions of being suspended in an intermediary state of not yet and not anymore.
